About The Department

  •  The Department of Chemistry at Palanisamy College of Arts established in 1993. Our Chemistry Department offers three years UG, Two years PG. Under the guidance of the dedicated faculty, the students have shown remarkable achievements in curricular and
  •  Co-curricular activities. Guest Lectures, Conferences and seminars (National/International) were organized to create scientific temper among the students and teachers have motivated them to scale up in research.
  •  The well qualified faculty members of the Department actively involved in research pertaining to their chosen fields such as Organic, Inorganic, and Environmental Chemistry. We have conducted many placement drives in our College campus related to chemical industries and R&D labs.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

M.Sc Chemistry programme must hold a bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited institution of higher learning. To achieve the minimum requirements for admission to the M.Sc level, the candidate should essentially receive 50% to 60% of the possible points at the undergraduate level
